A group of twenty-somethings, 4 childhood friends and 3 of their significant others, go to camp in the woods for a weekend retreat to catch up with their old friends, post college. Aimee’s grandfather recently passed away and her family has inherited his vast swath of land in the Colorado mountains, so she has arranged a weekend trip to camp there. But there is something inhuman in the woods.
Something Inhuman is a homage to late 80's/early 90's Shot-on-Video horror films, but with a modern flair. We will shoot the movie with 2 final versions in mind, one in 16:9 modern full HD and a 2nd version that will be 1.33:1 and made to look as if it is playing from a VHS tape. The differences will not just be a filter, these will be 2 slightly different versions of the movie. Both versions will be available on the planned blu-ray edition of the movie, and individually on a digital platform.
Inhuman is currently in pre-production, with filming to be scheduled by Spring of 2024, and a plan to release before the end of 2024.
Our first crowdfunding campaign successfully raised $3k. We are now looking at other avenues to raise additional funds during pre-production, and are also looking for businesses to sponsor the film. If you are interested in helping produce the film, please email us with the button below, or if you want to support with a donation, our GoFundMe is below.
Your donation will help us make an even better movie!
We are very grateful for your generosity.
